Arabic Foundation

Course Description

This part-time one-to-one Arabic language course provides comprehensive instruction in Nahw (Arabic grammar) and Sarf (morphology) alongside structured practice in reading and writing, enabling students to develop a clear and practical understanding of Arabic grammatical principles.

The course aims to build a strong foundation in classical Arabic, guiding students through essential grammatical concepts using 19 Essential Lessons in Arabic Grammar as a core learning text. Students will also engage in reading exercises and applied grammar practice to strengthen their ability to analyse and understand Arabic texts.

  • Understand key principles of Nahw and Sarf

  • Analyse basic Arabic sentence structures

  • Apply grammatical rules when reading Arabic texts

  • Develop greater confidence in reading and writing Arabic
